Rocking Chair

I found this rocking chair next to the garbage so I brought it in, I finally got around to doing something with it...

This is how it started...

I took the chair apart and painted the bits white

I traced a little fairy on the seat with pencil and started painting her

finally fairy is finished

painted some stars around her

on the top of the chair it says "Make your own fairy tale"

finally it all went together

Voila!

Magnets

flowers and bugs made out of fimo clay and then baked and then magnets added to the backs.

My TV table

This was a wooden TV table which had seen better days before all kinds of crafts and painting was done on it, so one evening I took it outside, sanded it, and this is how it ended up.

Alcohol Inks

This was a plain white ceramic letter which I sponged alcohol inks on for effect,

because this is ceramic and glazed I can used rubbing alcohol to take the colors off and do it again as the mood strikes.

with this I tried a technique i hadn't used before, I painted the back box part dark purple, and then green over top and then when it was dry I sanded it so you can see the purple through it, I kind of like the effect
